How Not to Become a Bird

At CaliCo, working too hard can turn you into a cat. 

Valentine, a transmasc waiter working at CaliCo's cat cafe, knows this. But he's confident he won't be affected because while his family are bird-shifters, he's never managed to turn into a bird. And surely someone who can't become a bird can't be turned into a cat, right?

How Not to Become a Bird is a story about dealing with stress, anxiety and the need for validation. It's also about a cat with pink wings and a very tiny phoenix, so there's that. This is my first light novel, about 13,000 words long, created for Overtime Cats Jam and inspired by some of the amazing transformation stories I've seen from trans authors.
